The Dilemma
Sade and Sam are both in the school's science club, and they are preparing for an upcoming science fair. Sade has always been passionate about astronomy, while Sam is more interested in robotics. During a club meeting, Sam makes a joke about Sade's interest in stars, calling it "childish" and suggesting that robotics is the "real science." Some other club members laugh, and Sade feels embarrassed and hurt. Later, Sam approaches Sade, trying to brush off the comment as just a joke. Sade is torn between feeling upset and trying to understand why Sam made the comment. Sade considers that Sam might be feeling insecure about his own project and is projecting that onto her. Sade No one else can make this call.
