The Dilemma

Anika and Gabriela were excited about their school's annual talent show. Anika had always assumed Gabriela was shy because she never spoke much in class. When Anika saw Gabriela's name on the list of performers, she was surprised. Anika thought Gabriela might not be good on stage, but she decided to attend the rehearsal anyway. To her surprise, Gabriela sang beautifully, captivating everyone with her voice. Anika realized she had made an assumption about Gabriela without really knowing her. Now, Anika faces a choice: (A) she can continue to believe that Gabriela is only good at singing and might not be good at other things, or (B) she can take the opportunity to get to know Gabriela better and learn about her other talents and interests.
