The Dilemma

Anya and Daiki are working on a group project at school. Anya is responsible for presenting their findings to the class. Daiki, who is usually very reliable, forgets to complete his part of the research. Anya feels frustrated and embarrassed, as the presentation is tomorrow. She knows she can either cover for Daiki by doing his part herself or confront him about it, risking their friendship. Anya thinks about what it means to maintain her dignity in a difficult moment -- not by hiding the problem, but by addressing it with honesty and self-respect. She wonders whether silently doing someone else's work truly helps either of them. Anya now faces a choice: (A) Cover for Daiki and do his part or (B) Talk to Daiki about his responsibility. In moments like this, the courageous thing is to speak up with respect, even when it is hard.
