The Dilemma

Tara and Fatima bonded over a school project two years ago and haven't stopped talking since. Recently, Tara noticed that Fatima has been spending more time with a new group of friends. Feeling a bit left out, Tara overheard a conversation where Fatima's new friends were making fun of a classmate, Sam, who is known for being a bit different. Tara knows that Fatima doesn't usually engage in such behavior, but she also knows that Fatima wants to fit in with her new friends. Later, Tara sees Fatima laughing along with the group at Sam's expense. Tara feels conflicted. She wants to stand up for Sam because she believes in treating everyone with kindness and respect. However, she also fears that confronting Fatima might strain their friendship and make her feel even more isolated. Tara The choice is theirs to make.
